Contributions
There are several ways your financial support may be directed to our ministry.
This is the "annual membership" that is available for you, your church, or your organization to actively support the operating costs for our work. "Members" receive our email newsletter and are the mainstay of our existence!
You, your church, or your organization may simply make a financial contribution to us for our work. All general non-designated contributions are utilized for our general operating expenses, and are acknowledged in writing for tax deduction purposes.
Capital Contributions - Seasons of Miracles
You, your church, or your organization may make a designated contribution to our Season of Miracles strategic funding initiative. Season of Miracles is the initiative that we kicked off at Annual Conference in 2008 with the purpose of:
Retiring the mortgage on the facility (our principal balance as of 1/1/2010 was about $1.4 million)
Making the facility a model of good stewardship by making it as “Green” as possible when making necessary repairs
Funding the Endowment to secure the financial future of Mission Central
Mission Central currently pays over $90,000 annually in debt service. While we have a very favorable mortgage, we would prefer to not have one at all, so that we could engage in more programs, do more good, and help bring Christ’s message of love to more of our brothers and sisters all over the globe.
All contributions are acknowledged in writing for tax purposes (please consult with your accountant or tax advisor).
Conference Advance Special Status
For those United Methodist Churches of our Conference that desire to make contributions through the Conference Advance Special account program (funds are then forwarded to Mission Central) , our Advance number #64868 should be indicated on your contributions when they are sent to the Conference Business Office.
Mission Central will request funds designated to assist with disaster recovery when such events occur. Special instructions for these appeals are shared at the time of need, with donor designated options provided.
Mail Donations
Those being sent directly to Mission Central should be sent to "Mission Central, 5 Pleasant View Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050"
For those being sent as Conference Advance Special support, they should be mailed to the Conference Business Office, 5 Pleasant View Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050
For General Advance contributions being sent to the General Board Office, they should be mailed to GBGM, New York, New York, 11111.

Endowment Fund
An "Endowment Fund" is maintained by the Stewardship Foundation of the Central PA Conference of the United Methodist Church. Information about Endowment Giving and benefits you may receive from planned giving are available at 717-619-5674 or at pmbowers@nterax.net, Phyllis Bowers, Director.
